Toast Hawaii
A timeless German classic, Toast Hawaii features crispy toast topped with savory ham, juicy pineapple, and melted cheese, often crowned with a cherry. Quick to prepare and wonderfully satisfying.

Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) convection or 220°C (430°F) top/bottom heat. Lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or pan, then spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice.

Place the buttered toast slices on a baking sheet. Top each slice with one slice of ham, followed by one pineapple slice. Finally, cover each with a slice of cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 7-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the toast edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and, if desired, garnish each Toast Hawaii with a maraschino cherry before serving immediately.
