Flammkuchen with Pears and Goat Cheese

A classic thin-crust Flammkuchen topped with creamy goat cheese, sweet pears, and a hint of honey, creating a perfect balance of flavors for a delightful meal.

Steps

1
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) top/bottom heat. Unroll the Flammkuchen dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
2
Thinly slice the red onion into rings. Wash and core the pears, then slice them thinly. Crumble the goat cheese. Pluck the thyme leaves from the sprigs.
3
Spread the creme fraiche evenly over the dough, leaving a small border. Arrange the sliced pears and red onion on top. Distribute the crumbled goat cheese. Drizzle with honey, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
4
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is lightly melted and golden.
5
Remove from the oven, slice into pieces, and serve immediately.
