Blue Cheese and Black Pepper Burger
A juicy beef patty seasoned with black pepper, topped with tangy blue cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, and red onion, all served in a toasted bun. A classic burger with a gourmet touch.
Steps
Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and form them into patties. Season generously on both sides with half of the black pepper and half of the salt.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, crumble the blue cheese over the patties and cover the pan to melt slightly. Season with the remaining black pepper and salt.
While the patties are cooking, wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Set aside.
Lightly toast the burger buns. You can use the same pan after removing the patties or a toaster.
Assemble the burgers: place a cooked patty on each toasted bun half. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion. Serve immediately.
