Creamy Garlic Prawns
Succulent prawns pan-fried with fragrant garlic, then coated in a rich, creamy sauce. A quick and easy dish perfect for any day of the week.
Steps
Prepare the ingredients. Finely chop the garlic. Roughly chop the fresh parsley, reserving a small amount for garnish. Squeeze half a lemon for juice, and cut the other half into wedges for serving. Pat the prawns dry with a paper towel.
Sauté prawns and garlic. Heat the butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the prawns and the chopped garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the prawns turn pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.
Create the creamy sauce. Pour in the heavy cream and the lemon juice from half a lemon. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Finish and serve. Season the prawns with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately, garnished with the reserved parsley and lemon wedges.
