Jalapeño Pepper Jack Burger
A juicy beef patty topped with spicy Pepper Jack cheese and fiery jalapeños, served in a toasted bun with fresh vegetables.
Steps
1
Slice the tomato and onion. Wash and separate the lettuce leaves. Drain the pickled jalapeño slices.
2
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Form them into patties, slightly larger than the burger buns. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
3
In a separate pan or alongside, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside on paper towels to drain excess fat.
4
Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet or on a griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-doneness.
5
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Pepper Jack cheese on each patty. Briefly toast the burger buns on the skillet or under a broiler until lightly golden.
6
Place a cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, crispy bacon, and pickled jalapeños. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
