Homemade Tzatziki with Cucumber and Garlic and Flatbread
A refreshing and classic Greek dip made with creamy yogurt, crisp cucumber, fresh garlic, and aromatic dill. Perfect as an appetizer or side, served with warm flatbread.
Steps
1
Grate the cucumber coarsely. Place it in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels and squeeze out as much excess water as possible.
2
Peel and mince the garlic cloves very finely. Wash and finely chop the fresh dill.
3
In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, squeezed cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
4
Cover the tzatziki and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled with warm flatbread.
